Our History
Wings for Women has been in existence since around 2006 and began as a grass-roots effort out of Nadia Valle’s garage and Michele Jiah’s guest house. We estimate having touched the lives of over 50,000 people over the years with our services.
Tucson area Optimists Clubs have been doing a Christmas program for 30 years supplying food and clothing to those in need. Around 2010, they merged their program with Wings for Women to support these women and their families.
We are excited about the opening of this new location for Wings for Women programs at 5320 E Speedway Blvd in Tucson!

Testimonials

My name is Jenn Roberts. In 2013 my husband left me and my three boys. I was a stay at home mom and had no income. We got evicted from our house and my car was repossessed. I had no clue what I was going to do. Wings for Women was a God send. They helped get me into an apartment, adopted our family for Thanksgiving and then provided the needed essentials and items for Christmas to actually give my kids a Christmas. I have no idea what I would have done without the help. They also helped me find a job and work clothes. The amount of love and charity I received I would never be able to pay back the way not only I felt but the way my children lit up on Christmas! I am forever grateful and every year will do my best to give back! I am now married again, working full times as a photographer and CrossFit Coach, busy chasing my kids in sports and living life to the fullest. Had I not had the extra help I never would be where I am today! Thank you so much I am forever grateful!
